Having served the local community for more than 35 years, there aren’t many heating and plumbing challenges we haven’t faced, but people don’t just choose us for our knowledge, skills and experience. From being polite and efficient to punctual and clean, we pride ourselves on providing an exceptional standard of customer care across all of our service offerings. Sustainable, renewable energy sources are also very important to us, so we’ve grown and developed our Lewington Renewable division since 2000, specialising in ground source and air source heat pumps, and solar thermal technology.

Kim Lewington


Founded the company in 1981, starting out on his own and building up the business over the years. Kim has now taken a step back from the business giving him more time to enjoy his passion for sailing!

Graham Gambles

Managing Director & Senior Repair Engineer

One of the first apprentices at the company, Graham has been with us for over 20 years, working his way up to become our managing director and senior service & breakdown engineer, who quotes for new jobs and oversees the day to day running of the company.

Darren King

Director & Renewables Engineer

Starting out as an apprentice, Darren has been with the company since 2003. He is now a senior engineer and director, who quotes for jobs and oversees installations. As well as being our renewables engineer, he carries out repairs on commercial gas and LPG boilers.

Ian Norton

Director & Senior Install Engineer

Ian has been with us since 2004, joining as an apprentice. He is now one of the directors as well as being a senior installation engineer, who quotes for jobs and oversees installations. He mainly works on boiler and bathroom installations for renovations and new builds.

Adam Dewick

Installation and Service/Repair Engineer

Adam started as an apprentice and has been with us since 2011. He is highly skilled in bathroom installs, as well as being Gas Safe registered. He is qualified to commission LPG and natural gas boilers.

Rob Mitchell

Gas Service Engineer

Rob has been with Lewington since 2006 and started as an apprentice. Servicing gas boilers is his specialist area, but he also services gas fires and carries out gas safety checks for rented properties.

Tim Waterfield

Repair & Service Engineer

Tim started in 2013 and completed his apprenticeship with us. He works on the repair and service team and has lots of experience working on both gas and oil boilers.

Callum Catling

Gas Service and Repair Engineer

Callum has been with us since 2015 and completed his apprenticeship with us. He is now part of our service  team but also has experience carrying out boiler repairs

Jon Medhurst

Plumbing Repair Engineer

Jon started with us in 2014, bringing 8 years of plumbing experience with him. Starting in the installation team, he has now taken on the role of plumbing repair engineer.

Matthew Martin

Installation Engineer

Also known as ‘Lenny’. Matthew has been with us since 2013 and has over 20 years’ experience within the field. He has gained his Gas Safe qualification and works on the boiler installation team.

Karl Fisher

Installation Engineer

Karl has been with us since 2016. He came to us with 8 years’ experience. He carries out a lot of underfloor heating and bathroom installations and passed his gas safe qualifications while with us.

George Bartlett

Installation Engineer

George has worked with us since 2014 and completed his apprenticeship with us. He mainly works on boiler installations.

Scott Bailey

Installation Engineer

Scott joined us at the start of the 2017. He works on the installation team, fitting boilers and bathrooms. He completed his apprenticeship with us in 2018.

Matt Warner

Apprentice Engineer

Matt has worked with us since 2017. He mainly works on the  installation team, working closely with our Engineer Matthew.

Ben Tyrrell

Apprentice Engineer

Ben started with us in 2018. He works on the installation team, working closely with our Engineer George.

Zach Rockett

Apprentice Engineer

Zach started with us in 2018. He works on the installation team, working with our Engineer Darren.

Hannah Burrows

Accounts Manager

Hannah has been with Lewington’s since 2013. She manages the accounts for the company and has the important task of ensuring payments are made and received on time.

Jack Abbott

Office Manager

Jack started with us in 2014, managing the office and organising diaries for our repair and service engineers. Jack is the first point of contact for our customers.

Lewis Kingsnorth

Office Administrator

Lewis started with us in 2016. He manages our annual service reminder list and engineer diary, as well as booking in breakdown repairs and other appointments.
